I have some new neighbors. They are Simon and Chance. We meet at the fence and this is Simon.
And this is Chance.
One day their parents left Simon and Chance outside when they went to work. Well it started raining and thundering and they had no place to go to get out of the rain. Mom went over and got them and brought them to our front porch. We all sniffed and we all got along. That was the first time I met them without a fence between us. Mom wasn't sure how they would act with her but we were all good. No bites!!
Later their parents came home and came and picked up Chance and Simon.
But we still meet at the fence and we bark our heads off to each other. Probably the whole neighborhood hears us barking at each other.
Mom always yells at me to be quiet....gezzz I'm just trying to be friendly!! Moms!!
Yep, that's right Addi has moved.
You remember that Tom got married to Brittney this past May. Well...they sold his old bachelor pad house and bought a new family house. They each had about 1 hr drive to their jobs so they found a house closer to work. Its in a subdivision out in the middle of a cornfield so now Addi is a country girl!! Its a nice 4 bedroom, 3 bath home. Here are the pictures of the new house. Its about 40 min from where I live but only 10-15 min from their jobs.
Addi and Loki (Brittney,s dog) have a huge yard to play in but they have to fence it in first.
They also have this mini lake in the subdivision. It has a walking path all around it and it is stocked with fish so Tom can fish. The can see the lake from their master bedroom in the above picture.
Here are Loki and Addi right before they moved. They are adjusting to the new house OK.
We haven't been there since they moved, Mom says we are giving them time to get settled.
And if you all have missed sweet Addi....here she is.
Funny note. Brittney is scared to death of spiders and mice!! Mom told her that she might get prepared for a mouse or two once the farmers harvest their fields!! She said that she will get on the table and stay there if she sees one BOL
Last week, Cousin Piper came to spend the night. Now my parents have one of those oldie but goody waterbeds from like 87 yrs ago. Yah, people make fun of them all the time about it bol
Well..Cousin Piper loves the waves and she goes physco about it and rips the covers back and hops like shes part Rabbit. Just see fur yourself!!

It's a good thing that we have moms that an keep an eye on us. Mom let me outside the other night. She usually just let's me out. This time she watched me
I ran around the big tree and then I started jumping up and down by this fence. Well...sitting on the fence..
Was this guy. It was dark but Mom could see his beatty eyes. She started calling me and I kept jumping at the fence. Finally she got me inside.
He just sat there and mom wanted to scare him off. She threw the broom and missed him. Then she got the mop and again missed. She got the stick duster and a purple bucket....missed every time.
View from this side of the fence.
The guy was still sitting there
Pretty sure he was laughing at this point. So for last resort.... She shook the fence and he took off.
My mom has been super busy the past couple weeks getting ready for our texas company. Her daughter Jess and the 2 kids. They flew in on sat and Sunday was the first ever water balloon fight. It was pretty awesome to watch. Everyone was getting wet and it was pretty funny.
Then they had a balloon toss between 2 people
The last couple standing won and they got to choose what couple to pie in the face.
These 2 got pied.
Pretty soon everyone was slinging whip creme everywhere.
Me and Piper weren't complaining at all. We were the clean up team and it was.....delicious!!
Keep slinging..it was fine with us.
I'm really sad today. My friend Sammy crossed that bridge. He wasn't eating or drinking and last night he couldn't stand or walk. His mom took him on his last ride and they went to the vet. He said that there was nothing that he could do. His mom hugged him, held him during the procedure. His mom knew it was time by his eyes.
His mom told my mom this morning and my mom gave her a big hug and cried with her. Sammy has a sister and she's been laying by Sammys bed and she is crying actual tears which makes sammys mom cry even more.
Sammy was about 10 yrs old and he was a rescue along with his sister. He had a good life and has left lots of memories but its still hard.
Sammy Always liked to walk under peoples leg kinda like London Bridges. Even when he was sick and having a hard time walking...he would walk between my moms legs.
Sammys mom Jo said its so weird cuz she used to have a pack of dogs and now down to 2. My mom did well now you have a mini gang!! It made her smile and laugh for a moment.
I want to tell you about my friend Sam. He is a pitbull and he lives behind me and we are really great buddies. 2 of his brothers have crossed the bridge this year. I was friends with all 3 of the boys.
Sam is very sick and can't walk anymore but he still likes to get outside. So his mom pulls him in a wagon..he loves the sunrays. I had to say Hello to him.
Sam is still smiling even though.
Sam likes me to clown around with him.
It breaks my heart to see Sam like this. He's a trooper but today he isn't eating or drinking.
Im gonna be so sad when Sammy crosses that bridge. So sad.
P.s. I was at the vet and got my shots.
The next day I was at the groomer for a haircut do I am looking good now.
